Divya is an accomplished design expert and corporate trainer, possessing over 15 years of industry experience. Having taught over 3000 students in design engineering courses throughout her career, she has also delivered or worked on 100+ projects across various industries, including Industrial, Medical, Furniture Mechanical, Packaging, and Architecture Fields.
Divya's expertise in advanced computer-aided design techniques has made her a subject matter expert (SME) and a certified professional in AutoCAD, Revit and SolidWorks. Her proficiency in these areas allows her to develop innovative processes and techniques that bridge the gap between digital design concepts and manufacturing.
Divya has received performance appreciation for the design of a mockup model for a multi-million architect project from planning to delivery within the provided budget and deadline. She has managed thousands of manufacturing drawings, ensuring quick delivery to the project team for the Winnipeg airport. Divya created a creative 3D parts directory, templates, and models and coordinated all types of building services using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Revit.
Divya has an extensive professional experience, including working as a Design Consultant and Freelancer Designer in Toronto, Ontario, providing her services to start-ups and small businesses to multinational enterprises in various fields. Divya also works as a Design Instructor/Researcher, where she conducts engineering design courses such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit for students and professionals of the Mechanical, Civil, and Architecture industries.
Divya's exceptional design and creative skills are evident in her commitment to excellence. Her field experience and technical knowledge have enabled her to incorporate learner-centered presentations emphasizing interactive and hands-on experiences. She promotes a relaxed, supportive learning atmosphere that features teamwork and student teaching one another. Divya has successfully developed and delivered CAD software 30+ workshops for mechanical, electrical, industrial, and civil engineers for Access to employment under the engineering connections initiative.
